This morning we met with Greg Vortherms, chief pilot for Hormel. Students were able to view the planes and learned about the qualifications to become a pilot. It was interesting to hear about the differences between commercial and corporate flying. They learned that Hormel started flying in 1961 and now has two planes that fly multiple times per week. Students had great questions and we even had a paper airplane contest! Congrats to Jonas and Michael for creating the winning planes!
