This morning we met with Heather Vossler, Assistant VP of Insights, Innovation, and Brand Analytics, Lana Pena, Innovation Team Lead, and Chris Conley, Insights Manager to learn more about product development and how this works at Hormel Foods. Students engaged in a Design Thinking activity and were challenged to come up with solutions to a problem for a peer.

We received lots of great advice and were challenged to think outside of the box! Thank you for a great morning!

- Be brave and reflect on what makes you tick. Find what makes you happy. Find the things or activities make you excited and then apply that to what you can do.
- Where do you get your energy?
- Take what you love and then find the job that connects with that so you will love what you do.
- Always be curious and work to learn more.
- Give yourself permission and be brave to try new things and get out of your comfort zone.
