About Me

  Makayla Dokpodjo is a junior at Austin High School. She is involved in the high school’s Symphony Orchestra along with La Fiera Chamber Orchestra, track, weightlifting, and Link Crew. In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, volunteering, shopping, playing the violin, and playing volleyball with her friends. She also is a Borlaug Scholar and 2024 Global Youth Institue Delegate. Makayla works at Marshalls part-time as well and enjoys the fast-paced atmosphere of retail. In the future, she plans on going to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities to get her master’s degree in both business and music performance.
