Thank you to Patty Tewes and Amanda Gunderson for visiting with our students this morning! It is always fantastic for our students to meet with First Farmers and Merchants Bank as we move closer to banker day! Patty shared about her journey from college to now. She opened a business in Albert Lea early on and then began her work in banking as well. Later on she worked with her husband to open a restaurant in Albert Lea and she shared about how she navigated the process of all the steps that our students are digging into as they develop their businesses. Students learned that First Farmers and Merchants is a community bank and that this allows them to focus on the needs of the Austin community. They learned about credit, how to write a solid business plan, and what they can expect on banker day. Amanda shared many tips that will help them prepare for their upcoming banker day. We appreciate the continued support and conversation that Patty has provided over the years! isd492 pacellicatholic
